Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Account information. We collect account identifiers, email address when provided by the sign-in provider, display name, account code, profile photo, birthday if added, and relationship connection information.

Couple content. We store content you and your partner add to the app, including memories, photos, comments, reactions, lists, plans, countdowns, bucket list items, recipes, goals, challenges, time capsules, daily question answers, status updates, mood updates, and chat messages.

Media and audio. If you choose to upload photos or voice notes, those files are stored so they can be shown to you and your connected partner.

Location. If you grant location permission, Always Us may store your approximate location for distance features. If you start safety tracking, Always Us may temporarily store more precise location updates for the selected tracking period. Location access is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.

Notifications. We store push notification tokens so we can send partner activity notifications, reminders, connection requests, and safety or location-related alerts.

Purchase information. We use Apple in-app purchase information to verify subscription status. We store subscription product ID, transaction identifiers, entitlement status, expiry date, and related verification metadata.

Bug reports and diagnostics. If you submit a bug report, we collect the report text and basic device/app information you send with it, such as app version, build number, device model, and iOS version.

How We Use Information

• Provide the private couple space.
• Sync shared content between connected partners.
• Send notifications you have enabled.
• Verify Premium subscription access.
• Support location and safety features you choose to use.
• Provide widgets and app features.
• Respond to bug reports and support requests.
• Protect app security and prevent misuse.

Sharing

Your couple content is shared with your connected partner inside the app. We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers such as Firebase and Apple to operate authentication, storage, push notifications, subscriptions, and backend services.

User-Generated Content

Always Us contains user-generated content shared between connected partners. Users can report bugs or issues from Settings. If you need help with abusive, unsafe, or unwanted content, contact us through the support page.

Location Choices

Location sharing is optional. Approximate partner distance is used by default when location features are enabled. Precise safety tracking is only used when explicitly started by the user for a selected period or permanent mode, depending on the setting chosen. You can disable location permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account from Settings > Account & Privacy. Deleting your account removes your user account and current couple space data associated with that relationship, including shared content and stored media for that couple space.

Data Retention

We keep account and couple data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete associated account and current couple space data as described above. Some operational logs may remain for a limited period for security, debugging, or legal reasons.

Children

Always Us is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the minimum age required in your region.
